This program is designed to provide direction to safely work in areas containing radio frequency (RF) emitting equipment. For the purposes of this program, RF energy can refer to any non-ionizing radiation (NIR) in the range of 0 to 300 GHz. However, the range of most concern for health effects is Very High Frequency (VHF) between 30-300MHz. These efforts will help prevent the occurrence of work-related injuries caused by exposure to RF energies.
